Modify Current User Nick#

ORCAcode discord_modify_current_user_nick(struct discord *client, u64_snowflake_t guild_id, struct discord_modify_current_user_nick_params *params, struct discord_guild_member *ret)#

Modify the nickname of the current user in a guild.

Deprecated:

use discord_modify_current_member() instead

Note

Fires a Guild Member Update event

Parameters:

  • client – the client created with discord_init()

  • guild_id – guild the member belongs to

  • params – request parameters

  • ret – if successful, a discord_guild_member that should be free’d with discord_guild_member_cleanup()

Returns:

ORCAcode for how the operation went, ORCA_OK means nothing out of the ordinary
